THE HANDMADE HANDBAG PROCESS
The body of the bag is designed with a single piece of leather, resulting in a seamless and sophisticated style. Each design is an extensive process of creating a custom handbag pattern, serging a dust bag, sourcing the raw materials, hand cutting the materials, treating the leather and meticulously sewing each piece to create a high quality piece you can wear for years to come. The bag is handcrafted personally by Bay Area handbag designer, Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio. MONOLISA bags are not mass produced or sold in retail stores. They can only be purchased on this website or at a MONOLISA show. MONOLISA handbags have been featured at the San Francisco American Craft Show and other additional fine art juried shows. Italian Leather Brown Croc Crossbody Bag Details
Bag Leather: Beautiful vegetable tanned Italian leather embossed croc design. Very classical high shine top finish, firm temper from vegetable tanning. Vegetable tanned leather is more expensive because of the more skill set requirement and knowledge to tan the leather. This premium leather is handbag designer, Lisa's personal favorite leather to work with.
