The Handmade Process
The classic earring style is a true work of art. Each piece is handcrafted personally by artist Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio. Lisa’s design philosophy is focused on creating high quality jewelry pieces you can wear for years to come.
What makes a MONOLISA jewelry piece unique is that each metal scroll component is individually formed — not casted by pouring molten metal into molds for mass production. The handmade process includes cutting metal pieces, hand sculpting, forming, hammering, refining the surface, and polishing before final assembly.
The MONOLISA Collection is not mass produced or sold in retail stores. Pieces are available exclusively on this website or at select fine art juried shows throughout California. 14k Gold Filled Hardware
MONOLISA gold filled jewelry features an actual layer of gold pressure-bonded to another metal.
