What to Expect

Don't miss this community event in July - Sonoma’s Hometown 4th of July Parade.  The Parade & Celebration is a beloved community tradition honoring Independence Day—named one of the top 10 Fourth of July celebrations in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure and Yahoo News. The festivities begin with a 10:00 am parade featuring around 60 entries winding through Sonoma’s historic Plaza. After the parade, enjoy an old-fashioned festival with food, drinks, and game booths hosted by local nonprofit organizations, with proceeds benefiting the Sonoma nonprofit community. Throughout the day, artists and makers will be on site selling their handcrafted work, adding a festive, creative atmosphere to this patriotic celebration..
