The delicately textured pendant features an Akoya grade-AA cultured freshwater white pearl (6mm size) designed in high karat gold (14k). The pendant comes with a 14 karat yellow gold adjustable chain - 16", 17" or 18" lengths along with a fancy gold trim box and white gift box.

ABOUT AKOYA PEARLS
Akoya pearls are known for their mirror luster, perfect roundness and superior surface quality. Akoya pearls are considered one of the highest quality pearls available. Their quality starts with the slow pearl harvesting process. To achieve a high quality pearl luster, pearls are harvested in cold salt water during the coldest months of the year. Each Akoya oyster normally produces one at a time, making the harvesting process more expensive. A freshwater pearl oyster has a faster harvesting process and can produce up to 30 pearls at a time. The pearl gemstone symbolizes love and is the traditional birthstone for the month of June.
