Lisa's design philosophy is focused on creating high quality handbags you can wear for years to come. What makes a MONOLISA tote bag unique? Each handbag is a one of a kind made piece. The body of the tote bag is designed with a single piece of leather, resulting in a seamless and sophisticated style. Each bag design is an extensive process of sourcing materials, developing a custom handbag pattern, hand cutting leather, working with adhesives, double sewing the bags interior, creating a closure element and surging a storage dustbag. MONOLISA bags are not mass produced or sold in retail stores. Pieces from the collection can only be purchased on this website or at a show. MONOLISA handbags have been featured at the San Francisco American Craft Show and other additional fine art juried shows in California.

Blue Leather Tote Bag - Details
Leather: Beautiful top grain thick leather tanned in the United States - medium to soft temper and lightly finished for color consistency. Leather grain variations and natural characteristics are visible with each handmade piece. Waste reduction is a top priority at MONOLISA. To reduce wastage, the entire leather hide is used while making this handbag collection.
