Unlike traditional high-polish silver jewelry, these rings feature a beautiful soft matte finish that gives the silver a subtle, understated appearance. The satin-like surface highlights the sculptural arrangement of the silver spheres, bringing out their dimension, texture, and handcrafted character.

Individually designed and handcrafted by artist Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio, each of the three styles has its own distinctive appearance. The combination of rounded Caviar details and a contemporary matte finish creates a unique ring that complements both casual and elegant personal styles. No two rings are exactly alike.

The Handmade Process

Every MONOLISA Caviar ring is personally handcrafted by artist Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio. My design philosophy focuses on creating high-quality, distinctive jewelry that can be enjoyed and worn for years to come.

What makes a MONOLISA ring unique? Unlike mass-produced jewelry, my rings are individually fabricated by hand rather than cast by pouring molten metal into molds. Each design begins with solid Argentium® silver and involves an extensive series of traditional metalsmithing techniques.

The process includes sawing and shaping silver, hand sculpting, soldering, hammering, texturing, sanding, and buffing. For my Caviar designs, I also individually melt small pieces of solid Argentium® silver into rounded spheres. These silver spheres are then carefully positioned and soldered into place to create each ring's distinctive sculptural pattern.

Rather than applying a traditional high-polish finish, I give these rings a soft matte surface that enhances the handcrafted textures and rounded Caviar details. This finishing process creates a subtle, contemporary look while preserving the natural beauty of Argentium® silver.

Every stage is completed by hand, allowing me to create subtle variations in texture, arrangement, and design. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind rings, each with its own personality and character.

MONOLISA jewelry is not mass-produced or sold in retail stores. My designs are available exclusively through my online boutique and at select California art shows, including juried fine art events. My goal is to create elegant, handcrafted jewelry that brings a distinctive artistic touch to your personal style.
