What to Expect

The Montclair Village Summer Art Walk brings artists and visitors together in the heart of Montclair Village, a charming neighborhood tucked into the Oakland Hills. Artists display their work throughout the village, creating an easygoing outdoor art experience surrounded by local boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and neighborhood businesses.

I especially like the setting of this show because it feels more intimate than a large street festival. You can spend time talking with artists, browse the local shops, stop for something to eat, and enjoy the neighborhood at your own pace. That combination of handmade art and the relaxed Montclair Village setting is why I consider this event one of my hidden gems for discovering California artists.
