The classic earring style is a true work of art. The jewelry piece is handcrafted personally by artist, Lisa Ramos in her Clayton, California studio. The handmade design is an extensive process of sawing metal pieces, hand sculpting, soldering, hammering, texturing, sanding, buffing, multiple hours of heat hardening the Argentium silver to increase the tarnish resistance properties, stone setting and polishing to create a high. The MONOLISA Collection is not mass produced or sold in retail stores. Pieces from the collection can only be purchased on this website or at a show. The MONOLISA Jewelry Collection has been featured at fine art juried shows in California. The solid 14k yellow gold metal material is sourced from refiners on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) list - certified refiners who are independently audited with traceable supplies and conflict free.
Traditional Sterling - Earring Setting
MONOLISA uses 90% pure silver, mixed with alloys to add strength and durability. Jewelry designed with traditional sterling silver metal will not wear down as silver plating can and is very durable. One of the benefits of sterling silver, it is hypoallergenic. Sterling silver is also known to fight infections and is associated with antibiotics along with skin repair.
